Registration Fees

• Due to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policies, all delegates are required only to register online.
• The maximum number of papers is two for full member registration and one paper for student member registration.
• All delegates must strictly follow all the instructions to pay all fees (in Singapore Dollars) before they are allowed to enter the conference & exhibition hall.
• Registration fees include a credit card bank administrative fee & Goods and Services Tax (GST) or prevailing GST rate
• Payment by telegraphic transfer / WIRED to add SGD50.00 bank transaction fee to the final amount before payment is made.
• Full-day registration includes two (2) tea breaks and one (1) lunch and entry to the exhibition hall.
• Short Courses /Workshops (on 1 December 2024 only) Full-day registration includes two (2) tea breaks and entry only on 1 December 2024.
• Short Courses /Workshops (on 1 December 2024 only) Half-day registration includes one (1) tea break and entry only on 1 December 2024.
• Students are required to upload a scanned copy of the student status proof (e.g., a letter issued by the school or the matriculation card) at the end of the registration process. The proof document must be in English and contain minimally the following information:
  • Student full name.
  • Student matriculation number (student ID with photo).
  • Expiration date (Expiration/Expected graduation date should be later than the conference date).
  • Letter issued and signed by the University Department head and written on the University’s letterhead.
  • The registration fee does not include Conference Dinner.
• # Please write to the Conference Secretariat at secretariat@tencon2024.org if you would like to change from any of the half-day to a full-day Short Courses/Workshops you had registered and payment made.
• All authors must register and pay by Monday, 16 September 2024, to have their papers included in the proceedings.
• Delegates are required to wear their badge throughout the conference proper. The cost for replacing the lost badge is as follows:
1. Full delegates (members) will be charged at SGD910. 00
2. Full delegates (non-members) will be charged at SGD1,010.00
3. Super-Pass delegates will be at SGD1,120.00
4. The student will be at SGD580.00

Bank Details

Confirmation of Registration

• Once payment has been cleared, you will receive a confirmation via email.
• Please include and state your email address clearly during the registration process.
• To expedite the collection process on site, please bring along your registration confirmation letter to the registration counters the Foyer of the Ballroom as proof of your payment and registration.

Cancellations and Refunds

• Authors: There will be no refund for registration withdrawal/cancellation
• Non- Authors: Any cancellations and request for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat by Thursday, 31 October 2024, all approved refunds, less 50% of the paid registration fee and bank administrative fee will be made within two months after the Conference and no refunds will be made for cancellations received after Thursday, 31 October 2024.

Language

The official language is English. No simultaneous interpretations will be available.

Onsite registration

We will only accept cash (Singapore Dollars) and credit card payments (only VISA, AMEX, and MasterCard).

Letter of Invitation for Delegates

• Delegates who require a letter of invitation to attend the Conference should write to the Organising Secretariat. Please note that a letter of invitation should not be considered an official invitation covering fees and other expenses.
• Letter of invitation issued is for application for entry visa into Singapore (if required) and application of leave from institutions or company.
• The Letter of invitation will only be issued to delegates upon receipt of full payment or unless otherwise requested.

Data protection and sharing of contact details

Protecting your data and the observance of your right to informational self-determination concerning the collection, processing, and use of your data are important to us. The IEEE TENCON 2024 Conference Organiser and its Organising Secretariat, Ace: Daytons Direct, will collect and store all separation and execution of the IEEE TENCON 2024. The IEEE TENCON 2024 Conference Organiser and its Organising Secretariat will share the contact details of concerned delegates with the Singapore Government Authorities on request.

In addition, the IEEE TENCON 2024 Conference Organiser and its  Organising Secretariat will periodically send e-newsletters to all delegates regarding activities at the Conference or other communications, which may be of interest unless otherwise explicitly indicated by the delegate on the registration form.

Suppose a delegate has opted to receive newsletters they can opt-out at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe”. Please note by opting out, information and updates about the Conference will not be sent to the delegate, and it’s the duty & responsibility of the delegate to check the website regularly for updates.

Disclaimer

Whilst every attempt will ensure that all aspects of the Conference mentioned on the website will take place as scheduled, the IEEE TENCON 2024 Organising Committee and IEEE Singapore Chapter reserve the right to make changes should the need arise.

Fulfilment and Jurisdiction

All delegates shall fulfil the terms of this contract in Singapore and, in the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Singapore shall be the sole court of jurisdiction.
