Registration Fees

• Due to the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policies, all delegates are required only to register online.
• The maximum number of papers is two per full member & non-member registration and one per student member registration. You may submit more than two papers; however, the full registration fee must be paid for every two additional submissions. Alternatively, you can register under any of the co-authors, but full payment is still required.         
• All delegates must strictly follow all the instructions to pay all fees (in Singapore Dollars) before they are allowed to enter the conference & exhibition hall.
• The registration fee will not be subject to any tax (GST), and if payment is made by credit card, the credit card clearance fee is inclusive in the registration fee.
• For payment made by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) / WIRED transactions, the bank clearance fee of SGD50 per transaction will be charged.
• All registration includes two (2) tea breaks and one (1) lunch and entry to the exhibition hall and Welcome Reception on Sunday, 1 December 2024.
• Conference Dinner on Tuesday, 3 December 2024 is included only for those who sign up for Full Registration (IEEE Members, Non-IEEE Members & Super Pass Members).
• Dinner Ticket can be purchase if you are not registered under the above categories.
• Students are required to upload a scanned copy of the student status proof (e.g., a letter issued by the school or the matriculation card) at the end of the registration process. The proof document must be in English and contain minimally the following information:
• Student full name.
• Student matriculation number (student ID with photo).
• Expiration date (Expiration/Expected graduation date should be later than the conference date).
• Letter issued and signed by the University Department head and written on the University’s letterhead.
• The registration fee does not include Conference Dinner but include the Welcome Reception on 1 December 2024.
• Please write to the Conference Secretariat at secretariat@tencon2024.org if you would like to change of name if you are unable to attend the conference and it must be done before 15 November 2024.
• All authors must register and pay by Monday, 30 September 2024, to have their papers included in the proceedings.
• Delegates are required to wear their badge throughout the conference proper. The cost for replacing the lost badge is as follows:

• Full delegates (members) will be charged at SGD910. 00
• Full delegates (non-members) will be charged at SGD1,010.00
• Super-Pass delegates will be at SGD1,120.00
• The student will be at SGD580.00

Bank Details

Confirmation of Registration

• Once payment has been cleared, you will receive a confirmation via email.
• Please include and state your email address clearly during the registration process.
• To expedite the collection process on site, please bring along your registration confirmation letter to the registration counters the Foyer of the Ballroom as proof of your payment and registration.

Cancellations and Refunds

Registration withdrawals or cancellations are non-refundable. However, a name change is permitted if requested in writing to the Conference Secretariat by 15 November 2024.

Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat by Thursday, 31 October 2024. Approved refunds will be processed within two months following the Conference, minus 50% of the registration fee and applicable bank administrative fees. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 31 October 2024.

Refund requests due to medical issues are subject to approval by the Organising Committee. An official medical report must be provided as supporting documentation

Language

The official language is English. No simultaneous interpretations will be available.

Onsite registration

We will only accept cash (Singapore Dollars) and credit card payments (only VISA, AMEX, and MasterCard).

Invitation Letter for Conference Delegates

• For delegates requiring an entry permit, please send a copy of your passport to the Conference Secretariat. Upon receipt, the necessary application forms (V39A and V14A) from the ICA office will be forwarded to you.
• Please note that the issuance of the V39A and V14A forms is solely for entry permit purposes and does not serve as an official invitation covering conference fees or any other associated expenses.

• Requests for an invitation letter to support leave of absence applications from institutions or companies are also accommodated.
• Invitation letters will be issued to delegates only after full payment has been received, unless an alternative arrangement has been requested.

Data protection and sharing of contact details

Protecting your data and respecting your right to control its collection, processing, and use are priorities for us. The IEEE TENCON 2024 Conference Organiser, along with its Organising Secretariat, Ace: Daytons Direct, will collect and securely store information solely for the organization and execution of IEEE TENCON 2024. Additionally, if requested by Singapore Government Authorities, the IEEE TENCON 2024 Conference Organiser and its Secretariat may share contact details of relevant delegates.

Furthermore, unless a delegate indicates otherwise on the registration form, the IEEE TENCON 2024 Conference Organiser and its Secretariat will periodically send e-newsletters with updates on conference activities or other relevant communications.

Delegates who have opted to receive newsletters may unsubscribe at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe.” Please note that unsubscribing will prevent further Conference updates from being sent directly, and delegates are responsible for checking the conference website or writing to the Conference Secretariat regularly for any new information.

Disclaimer

Whilst every attempt will ensure that all aspects of the Conference mentioned on the website will take place as scheduled, the IEEE TENCON 2024 Organising Committee and IEEE Singapore Chapter reserve the right to make changes should the need arise.

Fulfilment and Jurisdiction

All delegates shall fulfil the terms of this contract in Singapore and, in the event of any legal claims arising from either party, Singapore shall be the sole court of jurisdiction.
