Welcome to IEEE TENCON 2024

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to warmly welcome you to participate in IEEE TENCON 2024, which will be held for the fifth time in Singapore. The conference will spread over 4 days from 1 – 4 December 2024 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning Technologies for Sustainable Future”, we aspire to ignite your imagination with revered luminaries and accomplished experts who will delve into the latest trends and groundbreaking advancements in emerging technologies.

Started in 1980, TENCON in the Asia-Pacific region has become one of the most important annual events. The conference provides a unique opportunity for international scientists, engineers and scholars to share and exchange experiences. Our prior hosting in 2016 left a remarkable imprint, and we are thrilled to embark on TENCON 2024, an event we hold in high esteem.

The organization of the TENCON 2024 has been a joint effort by a large number of volunteers – members of the Technical Program Committee who compiled an exciting technical program, other members of the Organizing Committee who have worked tirelessly to ensure the meeting runs smoothly. We are very grateful to all of those volunteers and reviewers for their contributions in making this Conference a very successful event. Three eminent experts will deliver keynote talks on Dec 2 sharing various aspects of Artificial Intelligence and its applications.

All the technical sessions will be held on the level 4 of the Convention Centre including a large number of special sessions on recent topics organized by the distinguished researchers. The rooms are large, spacious, and accessible from one corridor. A person can easily move from room to room to keep track of papers of interest in the six parallel sessions. An exhibition will be held in parallel with the conference, and is conveniently located at the same level combined with tea break and lunch. Interactive forum in the form of posters will be also held in the exhibition room with more active discussions between the presenters and the delegates.

Lunch will be provided in order to establish a convenient and conducive environment not only for scientific presentations but also for technical discussions and business opportunities. The Social Program features a banquet dinner on Dec 3. As part of TENCON event, the Singapore Section Young Professionals affinity group will be organizing a “Mastering Presentation and Pitching Skills” competition held on Dec 1. In addition, the Region 10 committee on conference leadership is running a workshop at the same venue on Dec 3 and 4 along with the Section-Chapter Symposium.

Aside from attending this conference, please also take advantage of your stay in Singapore to explore its geographical beauty and colourful cultural diversity. Singapore is a cosmopolitan city and everyone will find something of his or her delight, with interesting attractions for the visitors, ranging from shopping to sightseeing.
